Keystage 1 Teaching Assistant

Flourish Education are working with a mainstream primary school in Wolverhampton, to recruit exclusively for a SEN Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher within a classroom setting and when required work with small groups of children with varying special education needs.

This role is to work both with children with special educational needs and supporting the class Teacher within KS1.

The role is required to start ASAP on a full time basis and expected to last for the full academic year.

To apply to this role you will need the following
. Relevant Level 3 qualification or above
. At least 1 year of experience within Primary Schools
. Experience of working with children with Special Needs
. Experience of working on a 1:1 basis
. A good reference from your most recent school
. Good behaviour management

Responsibilities
. To support SEN children within the classroom setting
. Support the class Teacher within Year KS1 (Year group to be confirmed)
. To effectively manage the behaviour and routines of the children
. Encourage children's development and improve their access to the curriculum
