ASSISTANT COUNTY OFFICER
Salary £28,672 - £31,346 pa (SCP24-27) pro rata
30 hours (4 days) per week
The Association seeks a part-time support officer for its small office based in Truro.
The role will support the County Executive Officer and the successful candidate will have a strong background in local government, an understanding of the role in local councils in Cornwall and will be interested in the development of opportunities for parish and town councils.
We are looking for someone who has an enthusiasm for local communities and is able to work on their own initiative and be capable of prioritising their work to meet our member councils’ needs. They will have excellent administrative and interpersonal skills, demonstrate attention to detail and an ability to develop rapport with a wide range of contacts.
