Our client is looking to recruit an experienced IT Support Engineer to start ASAP. You will be joining one a market leader in their field, a highly regarded global company who have operations spanning across the UK & Europe. Skills & Experience

  • Windows 2008/12 windows 10/7
  • Office 10/16
  • ESX/V sphere environment
  • Backup Exec: Office 365 (Sharepoint desirable)
  • Diagnosing and resolving 1st/2nd line technical issues
  • Active Directory
  • Providing desktop and server support
  • Supporting and maintaining MS Server/Desktops and MS Exchange
  • Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops
  • Ensuring security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops and kept up to date
  • Antivirus installation to all desktops and laptops
  • Creating VMs when required: snapshotting etc
  • Ensuring all logs for equipment and users are maintained
  • Setting up and configuring new core Servers
  • Installing authorised software to core Servers
  • Ensuring patches and upgrades are applied to core Servers
  • Exchange Server mailbox maintenance including archiving mailboxes
  • Responsible for managing backups and tape rotation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player
