LIMS Administrator
FTC 6 Months, with possibility to extend
Exeter
Our client, a leading provider of life science solutions, are now looking for LIMS Administrator to join their team on site with an emergency COVID 19 project for a fixed term contract of 6 months that could well be extended further on a rolling basis.
As a LIMS Administrator you will need to be well versed in data collection and processing software as well as experience in processing laboratory extracted data, hence you will know the process/format and will be able to hit the ground running with in this emergency project.

The Role
Support the Covid lab teams with administration duties
Receipting submissions through laboratory information management system (LIMS)
Adhere to SOP's, work instructions and Quality Management system (QMS) at all times ensuring good laboratory practice (GLP) is followed
Report any non-conformances using local and company quality systems
Take a proactive approach to Continuous Improvement within all aspects of the day to day role
Take a proactive responsibility for the Health and Safety of yourself and your colleagues
Communicate effectively to team members to ensure a smooth flow of work through the laboratory process.
Work in accordance with values of customer focus, competence and team spirit, quality and integrity
Ability to build relationships quickly
Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Have a Can-do attitude with flexible approach to adapt to the department's needs
Excellent level of English (verbal and written)
Strong MS Office (particularly, Outlook, Word and Excel)
Experience in a hospital, clinical or scientific environment, use of LIMS would be an advantage
Excellent Administrative skills
Must have own transport and can drive
This role is working on a shift pattern, earlies and lates, on a full-time contract basis for a fixed period of 6 months, with the possibility of further extensions.
