Grafters are looking for Admin assistant to work for a large transport company in the Lichfield area,

Your duties will include

* Start of shift handover

* Check and catch up on emails

* Send hourly movement updates

* Scan in driver trip sheets and scan to Customer Services

* Set up trade counter packs

* Set up trunk packs

* Set up TUP

* Brief & Debrief of drivers (Refer to manager if action required)

* Briefing drivers out (going through the trip sheet making sure the drivers have everything required and know what is expected from them for that day)

* Debriefing drivers (going through the trip sheet to make sure the journey has been completed correctly)

* Keep on top of printing: - Driver check sheets / Scratch and Dent sheets / Holiday forms etc

* Filing of RA's

* Checking that all vehicle check sheets have been completed correctly when returned.

* Co-ordination of transfers and cross docking

* Actioning defects

* General adhoc queries

* Conducting safety conversations (minimum 2 per day)

* Random driver CPC card checks

* Driver Licence checks agency and own

* Make sure all drivers download their digi card per shift.
