HR and Payroll Administrator

I am working with a well-known regional contractor to recruit an experienced HR & Payroll Administration to join a supportive team of professionals in a fast paced office. Working closely with the Operations & Finance department, you will be responsible for a number of duties.
Duties:
* Assist in the Recruitment process for new employees, arrange interviews, prepare starter packs and present Inductions
* Process DBS checks
* Issue and maintain relevant such as IT equipment, Mobile Phones and Uniforms
* Maintain Staff Training Matrix and organise training accordingly
* Liaise with the external IT Company
* Maintain Company Vehicle information such as Services and Repair information
* Collect and collate time sheets and monitor mileage
* Monitor Annual Leave/Sickness
* Prepare Data for Payroll - New starters/leavers. Tax Code Changes, Sick pay etc
* Liaise with MD and outside HR Company when required
* Engage and monitor Agency labour when required
* Maintain Subcontractor database.
Suitable candidates require:
* Must have at least 12 months experience in a HR / Finance role, construction experience is advantageous but not essential
* Must be able to work alone, as well as communicating with different departments when needed
* Must be confident working closely with senior members of the team
* Confident IT skills is very important, as well as having a discreet and professional attitude at all times
The role is for a 40 hour week - 8.00 - 4.30, Monday to Friday.
