Our Apprenticeship Programme

In this 24 month programme, you'll be welcomed into a team at Orbit where you'll be supported by your line manager and colleagues as you learn on the job and get the chance to gain an well recognised qualification. Our Apprenticeship Programme will provide you with the opportunity to gain the skills, experience and qualifications you need to secure the job you want whilst getting paid a salary in full time employment.

You will also have the chance to work as a team with our other Apprentices and deliver your own project having a real impact on the organisation. Our previous Apprentices delivered a wellbeing programme for our employees which proved to be a real success across the business.

The Role

This role will support our Customer Insight Lead and actively co-ordinate the collation and alignment of all 'voice of the customer' activity undertaken across the business. This will allow Orbit to understand what our customers' think of us right across their customer experience journey. Working with colleagues from across the business and working closely with the Customer Insight Lead, the postholder will analyse all of this information to draw conclusions that we then communicate to key stakeholders.

In this role you will play a key part in understanding the end-to-end customer journey and ensure that metrics help us to measure and deliver an excellent experience to our customers. You will co-ordinate the collation of all customer feedback and insight gathered through Orbit's Voice of the Customer programme, including complaints, real time feedback, customer involvement, new homes surveys and dissatisfaction. You will expose and highlight problems or issues associated with the end-to-end customer journey, including customer satisfaction, right first time, reason for contact and customer feedback using insight gained from all available sources, including operational data.

You will shape our approach to capturing customer satisfaction and feedback, recommending technology solutions. You will monitor trends and provide insight to reduce avoidable contacts, increase right first time and improve customer satisfaction.

What We Offer

The scheme is an 24 month placement starting in January 2021.

During this time you will gain a Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship.

Although it is our intention to offer you a permanent role at the end of the scheme, Orbit cannot guarantee this, however, the experience and qualifications that you will have gained throughout your time with us will certainly equip you for success in securing a permanent role in your career.

Can I Apply?

Entry Requirements for our Apprenticeships are as follows:

Our Apprenticeships are open to anyone over the age of 16.

For an Intermediate Apprenticeship you will need 5 GCSE at grades (A*-C/9-4) or equivalent including Mathematics and English.

For this particular role, it is essential that you have an interest in data analysis.
