Sales Representative - Scotland and North England - Pharmaceutical

Our client is a unique UK provider of Home Healthcare services specialising in respiratory care providing a range of services including home oxygen therapy; and currently hold three of the NHS regional contracts, including the North East, for providing this service to around 20,000 patients.
The Sales Representative position will be home based with travel across the North East region, you may occasionally be required to work additional hours which could include overnight stays away from home and working at the weekend. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Role & Responsibilities:

Act as a representative for the company and values
Promoting exceptional products using your specialist sales skills working in line with company policies to meet and exceed set quarterly & annual sales target for agreed product portfolio and defined area of responsibility
Generate new and manage existing sales pipeline in the defined region
Effectively implement the brand marketing campaigns to customers in the defined region
Prepare and present business proposals to clinicians to indicate interest in providing sales offer
Deliver sales pitches to convince clinicians to order or purchase medical products/services offered by the company
Provide demonstration of products to highlight its qualities and efficacy
Provide after sales service and training on products
Build and maintain positive work relationships with clinicians to create a rapport that allows for future business deals
Maintain proper record of accounts/sales operations and present periodic reports to management on business activities through use of CRM
Carry out research to obtain information relevant in meeting the scientific and business needs of clinicians
Participate in conferences and seminars to improve on existing job knowledge and expand personal network.

Essential Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years working in a successful sales capacity.
Previous experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical sales - preferably in Respiratory
Bachelor's Degree in Health, scientific or business area or relevant professional Health Care qualification
Communication and partnership skills, including ability to communicate effectively at all levels and influencing skills; proactively building relationship with others to achieve results
Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently, exercising a high degree of autonomy
Proven ability in presenting, with excellent verbal and written skills

Travel around Scotland and North England including overnight stays
Full UK driving license

GBP40-45k Basic salary
GBP5k on target commission
