A top rated international firm in London is seeking a 1-5PQE solicitor to join their top tier Legal 500 and Chambers for defendant commercial insurance work.

The commercial insurance team cover a wide range of disputes to include property damage, constructions and engineering matters, policy indemnity and subrogated recoveries. The team acts for a range of insurers, MGAs, loss adjusters and large corporates.

The Role:

* The solicitor will mainly handle policy coverage and high value and complex property damage claims
* Work will involve a broad range of litigation including advising on liability, causation, breach of contract etc, advise on policy coverage etc.
* Within this role you'll handle an interesting and varied workload of commercial insurance work and additional responsibilities will involve supporting marketing and business development activity within the team

Candidate Requirements:

* Qualified solicitor in England and Wales ideally 1-5 years PQE with experience in property damage, policy coverage and/or construction claims
* Applications from solicitors with commercial litigation experience with an interest in commercial insurance are encouraged to apply
* Strong academic record
