I am delighted to be exclusively representing a fantastic client in the region in their search for a Mechanically Biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will be involved in all aspects of site maintenance, both planned and preventative in addition to some really interested and exciting projects across site.
Currently undergoing significant growth, investment and transformation, this is a company that truly cares about their staff, their wellbeing and long term career with the company. With low turnover and longevity, this could be the long term and stable role you are looking for in such uncertain times!
So what skills do you need?
* A good Maintenance skillset, ideally with a Mechanical Bias but with good electrical understanding (PLC Fault finding would be great!)
* Experience within a Fast-Moving or Automated environment would be desired, but applicants are welcomed from the Heavier industries and offshore, providing there is some recent factory or plant experience in there.
* Exposure to Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Roller/Conveyor Systems is a must with additional electrical experience such as Wiring, Controls, PLC Fault Finding and Drives highly desirable.
The candidate must be fully time served/have a full apprenticeship within a technical discipline and ideally pursued additional qualifications such as HNC/HND.
