Our client is seeking a Stock Controller to join their team. This role will be based on-site at our client within The Princes Royal Hospital Telford. Our client will consider a job share of 2-3 days a week or someone happy to work Monday to Friday (30 hours per week 8-3pm)
Its essential the successful candidate is a driver with their own vehicle, as you may be required to go to their other site in Shrewsbury regularly. Also, there may be 1-2 weeks remote training in Leicester.
Duties will include:
Day to day management of consumables on site
Using the stock inventory system to place orders, receipt and manage department stock
Responsible for arranging collection of equipment for return to base repair
Responsible for the receipting of equipment repairs back to site and updating the customer service team and local records when required
Source non-stock products as required by the location
Obtain authorisation for new requested items and raise request with CMS office
Manage automatic and manual orders including non-stock
Manage requisitions including non-stock, raise and enter purchase orders
Expedite orders with suppliers
Manage migration process i.e. when Trust stock is depleting/depleted
Accept delivery, decant and manage reversals including management of over/under deliveries and damages
Ensure all stock is appropriately located ready for use by clinical staff
Removal of rubbish and housekeeping throughout the allocated facility areas
Ensure stock levels are optimised based on usage
Ensure all Stock Rooms are efficiently runSkills required:
Experience within a Stock Controller/Coordinator or a similar position previously
Experience working within a hospital/NHS would be useful but is not essential as you are liaising with the trust regularly
Driver with own transport is essential
Repair and return parts recording
Inventory experience
General stock management experience
Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills are required
