Based in the home counties, the Power Supply Design Engineer will be joining a world leader in the design and development of low power converters for industrial, medical and automotive applications.
The Power Supply Design Engineer, will be responsible for new design and development of DC/DC converters and AC/DC converters from concept to mass production. Other responsibilities will include some redesign/ modifications, failure analysis and verification. The Power Supply Design Engineer will be focused on creating design specifications, which will involve working closely with the sales and marketing team and also working closely with the production team for DFM.
The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree in electronics / physics with some experience in power conversion.
Other requirements include:
• A good understanding of Analogue Electronics, with SMPS Design
• Ideally some experience in magnetics
• Knowledge of active and passive components
• DC/DC and AC/DC Converter experience would be beneficial
