Join a busy department of a well-established organisation where you will be supporting Managers during the Covid19 Pandemic with a variety of different HR functions.

In the Human Resources Officer job, you will be:

Contributing to the delivery of an efficient and effective Human Resource function across all service areas
Providing generalist HR advice and supporting managers in relation to any areas of HR, such as: attendance management; investigations; support for HR Business Partners; terms and conditions of employment; contracts of employment; employee relations; furlough schemes; termination of employment and Covid19 risk assessments

To be considered for the Human Resources Officer role you must have:

A Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) qualification
A minimum of 2 years HR experience in an advisory role
Up to date knowledge and understanding of HR legislation, Local Government terms and conditions, and best practice
In depth current knowledge and understanding of the practical application of sickness absence management policy and law
High level of confidentiality required given the nature of the service area
Excellent organisational and communication skills

This is a full-time job working 37 hours per week for a temporary period to the end of February 2020 and is on an hourly salary of GBP12 per hour plus holiday pay. This role offers flexibility to work remotely, however they may require you to work in the offices as and when required.
