Ahimsa have been running as a charity since 1990 challenging and supporting perpetrators of abuse to cease their violent and abusive behaviour to become responsible and loving human beings. As part of our service we deliver the integrated partner support service, providing in-depth Counselling, safety advice, and information on other services. We also provide bespoke training to agencies to promote engagement with perpetrators and their families. We are looking to recruit the following positions;

Integrated Offender Management Ahimsa Programme Facilitator (FTE, 12 month contract) This post will be based within the IOM team in Plymouth, as part of a new collaboration between Ahimsa and statutory multi agency partners across Plymouth

Job Purpose: To undertake individual sessions with perpetrators who are identified through the MARAC process and our multi agency partners, to support individuals to cease their abusive and violent behaviour. Working collaboratively with victim services to ensure victims and children are safe. The post holder is expected to work in line with the Respect National Service Standards for Domestic Violence Prevention Services, implementing the Ahimsa model into their day to day practice.
