SEMI SENIOR ACCOUNTANT in STOKE-ON-TRENT, STAFFORDSHIRE - JOB REF: JO24365
Accountancy Elite are very pleased to be partnered with a key client of ours who due to their excellent reputation and networking activities they are now going through a period of expansion because of business growth and excellent client retention.
To be the perfect candidate for this role you will be a bright, ambitious, tech savvy, a very people orientated person. You will have completed your AAT and either already have started or looking to start your ACCA/ACA qualifications.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
??preparing the annual accounts of limited and non-limited company status clients
??producing final draft accounts and tax computations for review
??organising your workload so you can prepare accounts and tax returns efficiently within time and budget constraints
??checking-in clients records and notifying them of any deficiencies, whilst assisting the improvement of their bookkeeping systems
??assisting clients with their accounting software, including installation/training
??attending training workshops and furthering your knowledge and personal development.
??coaching and developing trainees and apprentices.
Candidates Attributes:
??Be newly AAT qualified and maybe studying ACCA/ACA exams.
??Minimum of 2 years practice experience.
??Have experience of software packages such as Iris, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero etc would be highly advantageous.
Salary: GBP18,000 - GBP25,000 + Study Support
Pension: Auto enrollment.
Benefits: Benefits package including incentive scheme and discretionary bonus scheme.
Working hours: 9am-5:00pm (FLEXIBLE WORKING BETWEEN 8AM-6PM)
Holiday: 30 days including statutory bank holidays increasing with length of service.
Study Support: Full Study Support Package Offered.
