Precision Machined Components Including Transmission Components and Assemblies Sales Experience Required
Midlands based company, nationwide customer base
Technical Sales Engineer / Manager required for an established manufacturer of transmission and precision machined components. The Technical Sales Engineer / Manager will be planning and carrying out customer visits as well as developing and maintaining relationships with customers at all levels. In this role, you will be responsible for selling capacity for the manufacture of transmission components, assemblies and precision machined parts.
Package
Up to GBP60,000 basic salary

The role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Technical Sales Engineer / Manager will grow the existing sales base, hitting their sales targets selling into industries such as: Automotive, Motorsport, Truck & Bus, Yellow Goods, Agricultural, Military, EVs, Renewable, Oil & Gas, Nuclear & and customer types such as End Users, Contractors, OEMs etc.
Preparing quotes with the support of an internal team and ensuring quotes are issued in line with the customer's expectations.
Identify emerging trends and develop new product opportunities to increase company market share.
Liaise with the technical engineering department.
Requirements
* The Technical Sales Engineer / Manager will have at least 10 years working in a similar environment.
* A proven sales track record is a prerequisite.
* Ability to develop customer relationships with key influencers and decision makers at all levels.
* A technical qualification would be advantageous
