Training & Development Team Leader
We are looking for an experienced Training & Development Team Leader for an immediate start temporary assignment based in Cardiff.This is a temporary assignment until March 2021Reporting to the head of People Management you will be responsible for managing the Training and Development function. This will involve identifying training needs, managing the training budget, managing multiple training contracts and ensuring delivery of training plans.Managing a team of 3, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate good strategic thinking and have a proven track record of driving forward key initiatives across an organisation.Key Accountabilities:
* Ability to translate strategic initiatives from the Strategic Workforce plan and deliver multiple corporate programmes
* Working with business leads at all levels, develop and deliver career training pathways and technical roles
* Take ownership of training initiatives and raise the profile opportunities where necessary
* Identify and improve the availability and recording of statutory and mandatory training and professional development
* Deliver projects in line with governance arrangements to manage and maintain multiple budgets
