On-Site Support Engineer
This opportunity will be 100% remote interview process with scope to start 100% remotely due to the current COVID 19 situation utilising Microsoft Teams.
A leading cloud consultant is currently hiring an On-Site Support Engineer with strong capabilities supporting WINTEL environments and a keen interested in the latest cloud based solutions. This is a permanent opportunity, paying a GBP40,000 salary package with training opportunities and career progression.
Our client believes in progressing capable and enthusiastic engineers quickly and can offer opportunities within their Network Infrastructure departments. If chosen, you will be rewarded with a structured work life balance, opportunities to go on training courses and company incentives.
Role:
The ideal candidate will have the opportunity and exposure of working with a wide, large and varied customer base, providing a large range of support and consultancy services, on many differing and diverse technical platforms.
You will gain extensive experience over the various supported IT systems, on a Customer base stretching a wide spectrum, and the opportunity to use this exposure, and the diversity it brings to develop a career in IT, and to take every opportunity to develop their skills in this area, through informal and formal training and on the job learning.
Technical Exposure:
Exposure to cloud based support, Office 365, Azure, AWS
Extensive hands-on experience specifying/configuring/troubleshooting user and customer issues in a changing Windows Desktop and Server environment.
Extensive experience of supporting and administrating Office (Apply online only), Windows XP-10, Windows Server and Active Directory 2003 - 19 and Exchange 2003 -19
Sound networking knowledge of TCP/IP, Networking and troubleshooting
Understanding of, basic Server OS and application installations and technical support technologies (e.g. 2003 -12-19 Exchange, Citrix, VMware)
Knowledge of security architectures especially with respect to e-commerce and the internet
Good experience of Blackberry, Apple and Android Products and devices
Package:
GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 salary package
Training - server build rooms available.
Progression prospects
Oyster Card to travel to customer sites
Office car parking.
