Job responsibilities

Kier is looking to recruit a SHE Manager, who will report to the Project Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for the co-ordination and provision of all SHE support to the Business Unit; carried out in a manner wholly consistent with Kier's SHE policies without compromise.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring the Business Unit remains compliant with all legislation regarding Health Safety and the Environment You Drive to deliver continual SHE improvements across the Business Unit. Ensuring that the Kier Group SHE policies and any local guidance are fully aligned in order that no conflict or confusion exists. Providing SHE leadership to SHE investigations as required by Kier Group SHE policies and procedures. You will be Responsible for preparing and submitting the Business Unit ROSPA awards. Also Ensuring environmental procedures, reporting and required environmental statements are produced and maintained.

What do we need from you?

You will need to hold the relevant qualifications, along with a solid SHE legislation understanding. A benefit will be if you have extensive experience supporting SHE functions in large organisations.
