Gi Group in Portsmouth are currently recruiting for a sewing machinist/warehouse operative to undertake various tasks for our client in the Bognor Regis area.
Daily tasks include -
Embroidery room - cleaning the embroideries after the work is finished (trimming long threads / cleaning the backing paper off)
Ironing finished products when required
Changing labels - very basic sewing machine skills needed
Warehouse - packing / wrapping & boxing orders
Skills required
Good attention to detail
Must have experience using sewing machines within a textiles environment
Good verbal and written communication skills required
Good team member
Ability to use own initiative
Immediate start
Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30
GBP8.72ph
This is a temporary role until Christmas time but for the right candidate, this has the potential to become a permanent role.
