Split shift pattern: 6am - 8am & 3pm - 5pm (Monday – Friday)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Cleaner with supervisory responsibilities to join our dedicated site team, to be responsible for the provision of a first-class cleaning service to the Academy. The post holder will oversee and supervise the work of a team of cleaners to ensure a consistently high standard of cleaning is maintained throughout the Academy, in line with all relevant health and safety procedures. They will be expected to coordinate cover for absent staff and deal with any staffing matters that may arise.

In addition to the supervision of the team, the post holder will also carry out the standard cleaning duties, which will include (but are not limited to) vacuum cleaning, mopping floors, cleaning toilets, dusting and washing designated areas, cleaning fixtures and fittings, emptying rubbish bins, and lifting and carrying sacks containing waste paper.

We are ideally looking for applicants with previous experience of working in the cleaning industry, in a customer-facing environment, and of supervising a team. The right candidate will be able to coordinate the work of others and work effectively as part of a team. They will have good attention to detail, with a strong desire to deliver a consistently high standard of service.
