Working with a well-established and stable organisation in Stoke on Trent we have an exciting opportunity for someone with Accounts/Audit within an accountancy practice to join our client's friendly team.
Job Description:
Key responsibilities for the accounts / audit role will include:
To audit a broad range of companies in varying industries from small owner managed companies to large multinational groups
Completion of audit assignments from planning through to approval of the statutory accounts
Strong financial reporting knowledge and ability to prepare consolidated statutory accounts
Supervision and mentoring of trainees
Tax compliance work and adhoc tax planning advice
Cashflow forecastingIt would be good to see candidates with:
Minimum of 3 years' experience working within an accountancy practice, either within audit or accounts (ideally both)
Open regarding qualification level but AAT qualified as a minimum
Tax accounting experience is desirableSalary: Negotiable depending on level of qualification and experience
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 5.15pm, Friday 8.45am - 2.00pm
