Primary SEND LSA, urgently needed in Tamworth

We are looking for someone with experience working with students in KS1 and KS2 with PMLD, ASD, Personal Care and MAKATON experience. Preferably someone who has worked in a Primary SEND environment previously. This school is fantastic to work at with welcoming staff that support a team mentality.

The position is on a substitute basis with the potential of becoming a long-term role and requires working in a team with LSA's to provide a thorough support system for the students. It will also involve assisting the teacher in delivering lesson plans that offer motivation, purpose and that builds on and celebrates each small step of progress, stands at the core of the role.

The position requires having:

At least 6 months experience working in a classroom environment
SEND assistance experience
Level 3 NVQ in Childcare and Education or equivalent
Enthusiasm for teaching
