Highway Services Manager
37 hours per week
Salary: £41,881 - £44,863 per annum
Location: Ynysforgan Depot / Goat Mill Depot / Pencoed Depot
(Please note that this post will initially be required to work from home, with a blended return to the office location in the future.)
The Highway Services Manager is responsible for the planning, co-ordination and management of employees and associated resources within the Trunk Road Services Section in the delivery of highway maintenance services. They will be required to safely manage reactive and planned maintenance activities on the Motorway and Trunk Road network in South Wales including cyclic maintenance, out of hours emergency services, adverse weather and other minor capital and revenue schemes.
The successful candidate will be required to have relevant experience in managing the delivery of annual routine and cyclic maintenance activities to agreed time and budget whilst minimising disruption to the travelling public.
You will possess management experience in a civil engineering or other construction related discipline and be educated to a minimum of HNC or equivalent.
