Owlets is a brand new, purpose-built Nursery which opened in August 2019. It offers fantastic facilities on a beautiful site within the main University of Exeter Streatham Campus. The Nursery is part of the Exeter College Group and is a partnership with the University of Exeter.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Nursery Nurse to provide excellent care and education.

The role will include providing quality care, fun and education under the EYFS, ensuring all health and safety requirements are adhered to, providing a stimulating and safe environment for the children.  Curriculum plans prepared as required, keeping up to date records of achievement for the children in your key group, liaising with parents/carers and supervising the room in the absence of the Group Leader.

The successful applicant will need to hold a recognised childcare qualification at Level 3 (such as NVQ in CCLD, Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce), or equivalent, and as a minimum have a wide range and breadth of experience of working as a Nursery Nurse with children under two years old for at least one year. You will have an in depth understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and have a commitment to the provision of high-quality childcare.
