Childcare Locum

This is a genuinely fantastic opportunity for an experienced childcare locum to work as part of a supportive and friendly local authority childcare team. The client is looking to bring a childcare locum on board on a fully remote basis; initially for 3 months with the possibility to extend as they recruit permanently.

The role will involve managing approximately 8 cases on average, including both pre-proceedings and care proceedings. The ability to conduct some advocacy is advantageous but not essential as Counsel can be instructed.

The client will consider applicants who wish to work either 4 or 5 days per week. Previous local authority experience is essential as a high level of autonomy will be required in the role. Qualified Solicitors, barristers and legal executives will be considered.
