Technician in Hairdressing
Part-time, 11.5 hrs p/w, 41 wks. P/yr. | Permanent | £4,927-£4,955 P/A (pro rata of £17,147-£17,244)
A hairdressing technician is required to join the Hair and Beauty department, within City College Plymouth. The successful candidate will be supporting across all levels within hairdressing and barbering.
It is essential that the candidate is qualified to L3 in Hairdressing and is current in all techniques within the industry. It is desirable that the candidate has experience and a qualification in Barbering.
It is essential that the candidate has experience of working in a salon that includes the duties of maintaining H&S and stock management, and the candidate must be confident that they will be an excellent role model to students and staff.
A good knowledge of IT is also essential for this role.
It is desirable that the candidate has experience in training students or apprentices and has some knowledge of further education.
The candidate must be dynamic and self-motivated, and to be able to work well in a team. Is able to offer excellent commercial and customer service skills. The candidate must also flexible and willing to work on some Saturdays and some evenings.
