Our client is an ambitious and well-established housing group with deep roots in their three heartland areas of Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington.

One of the largest landlords in the North West, they have 1,300 staff, manage more than 40,000 homes, support almost 75,000 customers and invest at least £5m a year into local communities and life changing causes.

A social organisation with a commercial focus generating income to drive their activities and deliver lasting change, our client is a landlord, property developer, commercial contractor and social entrepreneur.

They are currently looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their organisational Development team for a fixed term contract until March 2021. The role will be home based, although it would be useful if you are within commuting distance to Liverpool should the role last for longer than the initial contract date.

Within this role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Working on various projects to include policy and procedure reviews, safeguarding reviews, talent programmes and diversity and inclusion work.
  • Providing expert advice to staff and managers on a comprehensive range of people related issues.
  • Acting as a central point of reference across business areas, ensuring that teams, leaders and all colleagues receive a professional, people focused and efficient service.
  • Promoting leadership accountability, talent development, business partnering, effective performance management and positive employee relations.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be CIPD qualified with a track record in delivering an effective HR advisory service resulting in measurable business benefits.
  • Have a track record in supporting managers to deliver effective people performance practices.
  • Be confident in collaborating with leaders and managers, and building effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Have a commitment to E&D in the workplace and in the delivery of services to customers.
  • Have high levels of IT literacy, great decision making skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.

It would be useful if you have previously worked within a construction / housing environment before although this is not essential.

Great people share qualities that our client values highly. They are problem-solvers, able to work well within their team. They are open, honest and committed to doing the right thing at all times, and they always look for ways to do things better, focused on making sure they achieve their aims. If you can share their way of working, you’ll enjoy working with them.

In return, our client offers a modern workplace that is challenging, supportive and gives you room to grow your skills – along with a package of benefits that shows how much they value your contribution and care about your wellbeing.

The closing date for this role is 25 November 2020

Interviews will take place throughout the recruitment campaign
