Engine Overhaul Technician - South West
My client is an award-winning Engineering business within the power generation sector who, due to an internal promotion have an opening for an Engine Overhaul Technician to work across sites in the South West region, encompassing Wiltshire, Devon, Somerset and Dorset.
Working in a competent and effective team, the Engine Overhaul Technician will be responsible for performing large engine rebuilds including head removal, de-coke, replacing crank and camshafts as well as installing and refitting engine components.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional mechanical engineering skills, with prior experience performing overhaul, rebuild, maintenance tasks on large diesel, gas or marine engines.
My client is also willing to consider applications from those currently or previously in the Marines / Army / Navy with relevant experience in the rebuild of diesel gas engines.
This Engine Overhaul Technician position will involve considerable travel within the South West region and time spent staying away from home during the week.
