Warehouse and Logistics Tutor- Employability- Remote Working

Pertemps Work- Based Learning and Skills division are currently recruiting for a highly established Training Provider and as a result of their growth, we are now looking for experienced Warehouse/Employability Trainers on a permanent basis.

These positions are home-based with all delivery being carried out remotely.

The position of the Warehouse and Logistics Tutor is permanent and you will receive a salary of up to GBP30000, alongside 23 days+ bank holidays, Pension, Laptop and mobile phone.

The Warehouse and Logistics Tutor will be delivering 2-week programs and will facilitate an outstanding learning experience to learners who are engaged in an accredited Employability Warehousing and Logistics qualification.

As part of the teaching and learning, the Tutor will be required to assist learners with all aspects of the course and deliver advice and guidance to enable learners to make informed decisions about their future goals

The Online Tutor will be delivering the sessions using Video Platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Virtual Learning Systems

Key Responsibilities of the Warehousing and Employability Tutor
" Deliver inspiring training and coaching sessions to groups and individual learners in Warehouse and Logistics Programmes
" Support learners to improve their everyday maths, English and ICT Skills
" Devise flexible and innovative ways to engage individual learners
" Draw up agreed action plans with learners, outline the aims of the programme and monitoring their progress
" Actively support, mentor and motivate learners across the learner journey to help them with the timely completion of their learning aims and qualification. Contact will be all online and will include delivery sessions through Microsoft Teams and Virtual Learning platforms.
" Observe and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the qualification.
" Provide insightful, constructive and informative feedback to help the learner maximize their potential.
" Proactively monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of their workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience.
" Accurately report daily learner attendance and take responsibility for general health and safety, Equality and Diversity, Data Protection and Safeguarding

Skills and Experience Required for the Warehouse and Employability Tutor

" Recognised Teaching Qualification e.g. Award in Education and Training, PTLLS, Cert Ed
" Functional Skills L2 in Maths and English or equivalent- or be prepared to work towards
" Warehousing/Logistics related subject at Level 2 or above
" Previous experience in delivering Distance Learning Programmes through online platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom and Virtual Learning platforms
" Knowledge and experience of using E- Portfolio's
" Vocational competence or experience delivering Construction programmes to level 2
" Proven track record in achieving Targets and Quality Standards
" It would be desirable, but not essential if the successful candidates have experience working with NEET learners
