Data Warehouse Architect - Healthcare

Are you an experienced Data Warehouse Architect who has worked within the Healthcare sector? This is essential for the role.
Do you want to work with the very latest technology where you will be able to make a real difference to peoples lives?
Are you an expert with SQL and would relish developing technical solutions for their clients?
The company
Our client incorporates data from different healthcare providers which enables them to measure patient outcomes across the whole pathway, linking all of the services in each patient's journey. Through a whole of system approach in health and social care systems, they help create integrated pathways focused on patient needs that minimises waste and delay.
They work with many healthcare organisations including:
Ambulance | Hospitals | Health Commissioners, Funders and Purchasers
The role:
Working with the Technical Manager, Development team and Health Consultants to understand the strategic requirements, you will have the following resposblity:
Assist in designing and building on the existing tools that the Technical Team use in the delivery of customer systems.
Working with the Technical Manager to Design and build Data Warehouses to suit sfn, that provide the flexibility to allow appropriate access, reporting, security, and slice & dice of the data from a number of perspectives (e.g. patient, hospital, production planning, supply chain, WIP, Health Board or operations).
In addition, the following project delivery areas the successful candidate would be responsible for are:
Working with Health business transformation consultants to capture requirements from stakeholders and system sponsors
Work with Health business subject matter experts to understand and document the client's data assets
Produce and communicate logical and conceptual Health models of key business processes and data flows using "use case", process diagrams or other appropriate visualisation tools
Provide data structures that can be synchronised and data integrity maintained.
Identify key project risks and work with the project manager to mitigate these
What you will need:
Experience working in the Health sector, building complex Data Warehouses to support process improvement
T-SQL and SSIS development
.NET programming in VB or C#
Process and data modelling in acute healthcare or social care
Experience of applying data to business transformation projects, measuring processes and progress towards outcomes
Creation of outline physical designs for data warehouses - targeting a relational DBMS - ideally SQL Server
Knowledge of message based and enterprise service bus technologies including HL7 and FHIR
The role is customer facing so related skills are essential, as well as the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
In addition to core skills the following are highly desirable: -
Experience of a variety of BI tools such as Qlikview, Business Objects, IBM Cognos, MS Power BI/SSAS, Tableau
Experience in statistical process improvement/Six Sigma/CMMI/Lean
Simulation and numerical modelling techniques and software such as Simul8
Development of test data
Tools development
Machine Learning and AI
Scrum/agile, ISO 27001 and ITIL
