Role: Housekeeper (Catering) - Temporary role until end of December 2020
Location: Harplands Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent
Pay: GBP8.72ph
We have a new opportunity for a Housekeeper to be based at Harplands Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent.
The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to ensure an effective and efficient ward housekeeping service within the ward.
Tasks will include, but not limited to:
Supervising the duties of the Cleaning Assistants and Ward Hostesses on a day to day basis to ensure they are carrying out tasks to the required standards.
Maintain excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards within the ward at all times.
Direct responsibility for certain patient care tasks, liaison with other departments or through the supervisions of the cleaning assistants and Ward Host/ess.
Ensure an efficient and patient focused lunch and evening meal service is delivered.
Identify where patients experience could be enhanced and to communicate ideas and suggestions to the Ward Sister/Manager
