Resettlement Coordinator

Keystage Housing are looking to recruit dedicated bank staff to provide round the clock support in our Somewhere Safe to Stay Hub. The Hub will offer needs-based assessment for homeless individuals and provide a rapid resettlement pathway as part of this. The role of the coach will be to support the service users with their day-to-day routine and assist the shift manager with the smooth running of the service

Who are we looking for?

Experienced and motivated individuals to join existing team who have a passion for supporting people. We are a diverse workforce with a range of skills and expertise who support and advocate for our service users to obtain safe and secure accommodation. Some of the people who we support would have experienced disadvantages or personal difficulties, therefore you will be an individual who can build rapport easily and deliver support in a caring and no-judgemental way. It is important that you understand the barriers that homeless people face and hold a belief that with the right support and intervention people have the best chance of success.

Who the role would suit?

- An Individual who has a confident yet caring approach, who is happy to help, has excellent listen skills and can create conversation with ease.

- An experienced support worker or similar role where supporting the development of persons skills, confidence and self-esteem has been at the heart of the role.

- A team player who is motivated to work from their own initiative and can be adaptable to the needs of the service.

- An individual with a track record of being able to inspire and contribute to the day-to-day running of a service.

- A conscientious professional who can record and report information accurately

- Someone with a minimum of 2 years experience of working in the supported housing sector, support work, housing or health and social care
