Our Client is a thriving Accountancy Practice based on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Due to continued growth they are now seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for producing Accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships and Sole Traders.
The role will involve:
* Producing and submitting accounts.
* Ensuring accuracy of technical output from the Accounts team, providing support, feedback and guidance when required.
* Liasing with internal colleagues and departments to ensure smooth delivery of service for clients.
* Ensuring compliance with new accounting standards at all times.
* Building strong relationships with clients.
* Coaching and mentoring junior members of the Accounting team.
* Assisting with performance meetings.
In order to apply, you should have:
* Qualified Accountant Status
* Practice experience (essential)
* Excellent IT skills, including Excel.
* Strong relationship-building skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* The ability to coach and mentor.
* A strong commercial awareness.
