The Company
Fast growing, market leading, SME client is looking to make a key appointment in order to take the business through the next phase of its growth. After significant investment and successful tendering for several major contracts they are now ideally positioned to increase their market share and require a strong and enthusiastic Office Manager / Administrator to help them manage their busy office.
The Role
Reporting to the MD, you will oversee the day to day running of a small but busy office ensuring the timely processing of orders and invoices and working closely with the MD and Technical and Warehouse Managers as well as liaising with their European parent company, this is the opportunity to add real value to the business and drive growth and profitability.
Key responsibilities will include:
Delivery of timely and reliable financial information
Assisting with payroll, purchasing schedules, bank reconciliations and preparation of budgets
Liaise with an external accountancy firm
Support Warehouse and Technical teams
Support implementation of a new ERP system and develop their current business operating systems and procedures
Handle a wide range of administrative and executive supportThe Person
Successful applicants will have a proven track record of managing a successful and busy office and will be experienced in Microsoft Office and ERP. Any exposure to Navision will be highly beneficial but not essential. With a proactive, self-motivated, and "can do" attitude, you will enjoy rolling up your sleeves and supporting a small business with variety of tasks and develop new initiatives and practices in order to drive the business forward. Extremely well organised and able to build effective working relationships, you will operate with high integrity and be entrusted to deal with highly confidential matters and financial transactions.
