We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to focus on the following:
* Assisting with completing our daily checks of the platform and service health.
* Supporting the MPP Global staff with general IT issues including:
* Administering Office 365 (Teams, Sharepoint)
* Administering all our Atlassian products: Jira, Stash and Confluence.
* Assisting with leavers, joiners and changes of access for these staff.
* Troubleshooting hardware/software problems with MPP Global staff in the field.
* Ensuring that all MPP Global staff are up to date with patching and Anti-Virus
* Maintain the necessary documentation when any changes are made.
* Procuring new and replacement equipment for MPP Global staff.
* Monitoring our support queue, handing triage and escalating as necessary.
* Assisting in the reliability assurance of all eSuite hosting environments, providing high availability, 365 days, 24/7 across our cloud infrastructure, which includes:
* Azure
* AWS
* Docker
* Kubernetes
* Azure CDN
* Support in setting up and responding to the platform's system monitoring.
* Run introductory infrastructure projects with assistance from your mentor.
* Operating within controlled frameworks that include PCI DSS, SOC 1 & SOC 2, GDPR.
* Robust preventative maintenance programmes
Key Skills:
Love and passion for technology
A a qualification in IT or Computer Science at any of these levels:
A degree in a technical subject.
A-level
GNVQ
Has strong attention to detail
A desire to help people and the ability to communicate clearly with our staff.
While no direct experience is required, experience in the following will help with your application:
Knowledge of Windows operating systems (Server and Desktop)
Experience a support desk solving user issues.
Wifi and basic networking experience.
