The Company:
* A Sample Administrator is needed to join an established fashion supplier who supply to major high street retailers and supermarkets. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with a fashion wholesale environment.
The Role:
* Monitor, action and prioritise incoming email sample requests.
* Respond to customer and internal enquiries.
* Creation of .jpgs imagery for Pheonix (Internal system).
* Check customer art submissions are of sufficient quality to process and liaise with customer accordingly.
* Download art from links and FTP sites.
* Creation of sample requests on Pheonix (Internal system).
* Action flow of sample requests raised by other team members.
* Communicate with sales, merch and sample team regarding sampling.
* Update daily the samples to pull and samples to order spreadsheets.
* Creation of digital size sets for production.
* Photograph garments for digital size sets.
* Basic Colour separation in Illustrator.
* Basic colour separation in Photoshop.
* Printing of high res visuals on HPZ6200.
* Completion of daily sampling and artwork report.
* Allocation of jobs to separators and designers in order of priority each morning.
* Present sample status in weekly sales meeting.
Skills Required:
* This is a supportive role both internally and externally that carries with it substantial responsibility. Candidate would need to be highly a motivated and confident person with a flair for problem solving and following procedure.
* Strong interpersonal skills are vital as the role requires a great deal of interdepartmental dialog.
* Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop proficiency.
* Microsoft Excel abilities.
* A substantial history and flair for administration.
