The Position:

We have an opportunity for a Customer Service / Collections Advisor to join the team on a permanent basis to provide an excellent service to our customers to achieve a right first time experience.

You will deal with a variety of inbound queries via telephone, email and the portal along with supporting collections and aged debt recovery activities through outbound contact. You will also support wider operational activities including onboarding, meter readings billing and payments along with other aspects of the customer lifecycle management.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Experienced in customer service and general operational activity
  • Experience in collections activity, late payments and early debt collections
  • Confident dealing with customers, colleagues and partners in all situations
  • Experience with the UK Gas and Elec industry (desirable, but not essential)
  • Verbally and numerically competent, with strong communication skills
  • Able to work with technical situations and understand complex issues
  • Ability to work with different systems and processes, and liaise with different departments
