A industry leading business on the outskirts of Ipswich are looking to appoint a proactive and personable Sales & Account Manager to join their team. Our client boasts a great benefits package including 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.

The Role:

They are looking for a talented individual, to play an active role in the prospecting and sale of product, ensuring that volume and margin objectives are achieved within budgets agreed with the Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

* To research and make contact with potential customers, to promote the benefits of trading with the Company.

* To target new and existing customers and quote them agreed prices for our range of products.

* To ensure that all contracts are recorded accurately and promptly.

* To create long-term relationships with farmer customers and assist with the growth of the overall tonnage.

* To be involved in providing prices to satisfy sales enquiries from customers.

* To be responsible for the provision and analysis of accurate customer information including products used, quantities used, cropping and other relevant sales information.

* To keep up to date with market information and trends for all grades of products and to communicate these effectively to customers.

* To work in close conjunction with the administration functions and haulage departments to ensure that product movements operate in a planned and efficient manner.

* To develop an extensive product knowledge

* To assist with the development and implementation of business/strategic plans for the product sales activity.

* Assist other members of Sales Team as required

* All other reasonable related duties

Experience & Knowledge

* Some experience in selling techniques and negotiating skills

* Agriculture knowledge an advantage but not essential

* Computer literate

* Experience working with CRM systems

Abilities & Skills

* Works well under pressure, excellent team player and people person

* Excellent communication skills and strong telephone manner

* Well organised, self-motivated and resilient

* Excellent attention to detail

* Full clean UK Driving Licence

Benefits

Salary: 20,000 - 25,000
