This role is an ideal opportunity for someone who has excellent experience of sales order management within supply chain or manufacture, with an understanding of the retail and wholesale market place and who would like to move into, or is already working on, Key Accounts.

This is a role for a forward planner, someone who takes the initiative when dealing with their customer base; can identify an issue before it becomes a problem and creates solutions so that the customer has as smooth and positive an experience as is possible

A key requirement is Advanced Excel, as this is used to create meaningful information for customers so it is essential that you are able to take data, with a good knowledge of V Lookups, Headers and Footers, Pivot Tables etc.

Knowledge of integrated systems is essential, whereby the customer is able to input an order on their system which is linked to the business, creating a Sales Order etc

This is an intermediary role between the Field Sales Team, Warehouse, Logistics and Customer, so must be able to multi task and deal with volume amounts of information at all times from various points

The Key Account Sales Administrator plans, prepares and communicates with the agents, the field sales people, warehouse, planning, logistics and customer on ALL aspects of order.:

  • Handle incoming order
  • Liaise with warehouse re stock, allocate stock
  • Make sure right discounts and pricing in place for order
  • Plan the incoming stock from overseas with planning team
  • Organises logistics with logistics teams all way to delivery to customer.
  • Communicate with field sales team so they know what is happening with their customer
