Our client is a market leading local organisation who are seeking an additional team member for their retail support team. The ideal candidate will have strong IT skills and some previous experience in retail and marketing.

The role will provide head office support to the Retail Support Manager and Retail Managing Director , and overall retail store operation

Head Office Support

  • Point of contact for all store employees
  • Support all employees on any queries they have, ensuring all queries are answered and/or rectified as smoothly and as quickly as possible
  • The liaison for all retail employees – communicating on their behalf to all other departments such as HR, Health and Safety, Warehouse, etc
  • Assist the Retail Support Manager and Retail Managing Director in any administration  tasks

POS/Marketing

  • Organising the production and delivery of POS materials
  • Coordinating the design and delivery of all store POS requirements
  • Write copy for POS material
  • Proof read any marketing material
  • Working across the different in-house brands and departments to coordinate timely delivery of all POS required
  • Ordering Stock
  • Processing of weekly orders, planning deliveries and working on forward and back orders including product set up.
  • Order stock from warehouse for concessions
  • Order all supplies and stationary required for stores
  • Monthly Newsletter
  • Collate all information required for the weekly newsletter
  • Ensure all information is relevant and up to date
  • Design, edit, proof read the newsletter before getting approval for final version
  • Print all final copies and cascade to all stores
  • Internal Communications
  • Ensure all relevant communications are cascaded to  all retail employees
  • Draft and cascade  internal memos
  • Build and maintain successful inter-departmental relationships across different companies and brands within group

General

  • Handle customer complaints , ensuring concerns are addressed and rectified as smoothly and as quickly as possible
  • Plan conferences and make travel arrangements
  • Assist in arranging mystery shoppers and distribute results
  • Process bonuses and high sales achievements
  • Collate information for monthly trade reports
  • Processing orders on store back office till system

Skills & Experience:

  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Sees tasks through to completion
  • Self- motivated and ability to work on own initiative and without supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic team player and ability to work with other colleagues in a dynamic and growing business
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • A minimum of two years office/administration experience is essential, ideally in a similar role
  • Marketing experience desirable but not essential
  • Must have a ‘creative flair’ and experience of working with POS
