They are currently seeking four Approved Electricians to be responsible for the provision of high quality electrical inspection & testing, repairs and alterations to existing fittings and fixtures, rewiring partial or full properties including inspection, testing and reporting on the condition of the electrical components and equipment contained within our stock across the whole of the Yorkshire region. Within this role your main responsibilities will include carrying out and completing all required work to the highest standards, setting out and planning working including circuit design and produce accurate records of all work undertaken. You will also be expected to work as part of a team liaising with other trades, client officers and administrators, liaise with the public and tenants in a professional and courteous manner and assist in the effective delivery of materials and supply by working closely with management.

The successful candidate will be qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in an appropriate electrical area and will ideally hold City & Guilds 2391 and Advanced City & Guilds (C course or 2400). You must have worked within a similar role previously and you will ideally be experienced in periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations and have working knowledge of the IEE Wiring Regulations (17th Edition) and EWR 1989.

You must be able to plan and allocate workloads whilst having a good standard of English and Maths and being computer literate. It is essential that you are a strong communicator who can work on your own initiative and support others and you will be organised with the ability to embrace new ideas and support implementation. A full UK driving licence is essential as is a friendly and cheerful disposition.
