A new development opportunity in human resources is available for a CIPD qualified Senior Human Resources Advisor to join our client’s team. Working from their head office near Lansdowne in Bournemouth this opportunity offers exposure to the full range of HR activities for someone aspiring to develop their HR career and broaden their horizons.

Working as part of a small but friendly HR team as HR Advisor you will be delivering a high quality service to staff and managers within the group in housing and specialist support.

You will be predominantly supporting an HR Business Partner in their dedicated business areas. The work will be varied and include a range of activities including HR processes such as investigations, disciplinaries and grievances, transfer of undertakings (TUPE), consultations and organisational change programmes as well as inputting to the delivery of HR training for managers

Candidate Requirements:
For the role of Senior Human Resources Advisor, you will have some experience already in many of these fields with a strong wish to expand your knowledge and skills in these and others. Training and support will be given where there are areas that you have not previously worked with such as TUPE, disciplinaries.

You will have developed your skills within an HR environment and feel confident offering employee relations advice and policy guidance to line managers.

A CIPD graduate with operational HR experience, you will be able to take on more complex issues preferably including TUPE. The ability to manage an employment relations caseload while maintaining high levels of organisational skills and best practice is vital whilst maintaining customer focus and time management. Y

You will use your knowledge of employment law to advise managers on the various options available taking into consideration practicality and risk to the organisation. Involvement in HR projects and policy review will also be a key part of the role.

Naturally, you will have excellent communication and IT skills being comfortable with systems, and will understand the importance of delivering a high standard customer service experience.

We operate in a supportive and development orientated environment to ensure that you benefit from the experience and others learn from you. It is also required that, within the parameters of the equality act, you are able to meet the travel requirements of the post.

This position is based in Bournemouth.
