We are looking for a professional and experienced Receptionist to head up our team of receptionists within our busy dental practice and facial aesthetics spa in Castleford.

Reporting directly into the Office Manager the right candidate will be well presented, customer orientated and able to work under pressure. You will need confidence to lead the team but also be comfortable getting stuck in with the general day-to-day reception tasks.

We are looking for someone positive and bright who thrives on meeting people and assisting with queries.

Duties and Responsibilities
•Greet patients and visitors in an efficient and courteous manner.
•Provide effective and polite telephone enquiry service.
•Proactively communicate information between relevant patients, doctors and other professionals.
•Record patient information and make clinic appointments.
•To ensure the reception runs effectively in the Office Managers absence and all procedures are adhered to.
•Acting as representative for facial aesthetics.
•To maintain and monitor patient systems are working, specifically recalls and other daily/weekly/monthly tasks issued by the Reception Manager, are completed in a timely manner and with due care.
•Attend and actively participate in all meetings/training.
•Ensure daily banking/charges are completed correctly and in accordance to policy
•Communicate any issues that may affect the running off the reception are at the earliest opportunity.
•Communicate effectively and tactfully with patients/carers about appointments and services offered by the practice especially where English is not the first language
•Notify patients of any unusual circumstances that may cause their appointment to be delayed or postponed.
•Maintain the clinic appointment system recording those patients that fail to attend or attend for their appointments late.
•Attend regular meetings with the Office Manager and/or BOM
•Respond and/or redirect all patient and visitor requests accordingly.
•Answer incoming calls from patients, carers and other parties ensuring calls are documented and redirected accordingly.
•Accurate keyboard skills required.
•Active listener, enabling patients to be directed to appropriate services in a timely manner.

You must:

• Possess the ability to audio type
