Reporting directly to the Business Analyst, the successful applicant will be responsible for producing reports and analysis from raw system data that will be used for making commercial decisions throughout the organisation.

In addition to this, you will also be required to work closely with the Merchandising, Finance, IT and Retail departments with the task of producing reports and analysis from the raw system data. This will range from:

- Creating, maintaining and running daily and weekly reports

- Implementing reporting improvements / changes

- Set up of the standard reports each financial year

- Specific analytical work as required by the different functions. In each case, the requirement will be to produce output in a format that can be used by all levels within the organisation to make decisions

- Provide the business with useful insight to assist the decision making process

- Use data/systems to provide business information on key KPI's such as LFL Sales, Cash Margin and profitability

The ideal Commercial Analyst will be educated to A-level or degree standard and ideally have experience of working in the retail industry either in a merchandising or financial role. You will also have advanced excel skills, knowledge and experience of Access, ability to prioritise and organise and the ability to communicate effectively.
