Job Role:

Our client is recruiting for a Customer Service officer to provide Customer Service Support within the department to external customers.

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities will be:

* Understanding the terms and conditions of booking and being fully conversant with all products available.
* Handling calls with customers and agents on a rota basis.
* Dealing with pre-departure issues such as flight changes and accommodation changes and effectively resolving any queries that arise.
* Dealing with in-resort and post departure queries and issues and resolving where possible.
* Corresponding with customers by email and letter, actioning and resolving any problems accordingly.
* Production of statistical reports.
* Using the Customer Service software programme and the in-house system (ATOP) to record all interactions with customers.
* General administration duties.

Job Role:

Our client is recruiting for a Database Administrator to provide general administrative support within the Product Inventory department.

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities will be:

* Accurately loading information onto the inhouse system (ATOP), Viewdata and website.
* Providing support and answering queries from internal and external customers.
* Updating and maintaining contractual/Pricing/accommodation information on all systems.
* Checking invoice calculations both manually and online.
* General administration duties.

The Ideal Candidate:

The role within the Product Inventory department is very responsible and requires a high degree of concentration and use of initiative. Candidates are working on essentially a "live" database, so experience in attention to detail and working accurately and methodically are necessary qualities for the role. Ideally with previous experience of working within a database input department within travel. Knowledge of setting up and creating databases is not required, but experience of working with computers and having familiarity with a number of systems (particularly MS Excel and preferably Access) would be advantageous.
