• Complete and format PQQs and contribute to Tender Submissions; supporting Bid Manager to develop bespoke responses
• Manage administrative processes for bid coordination to achieve deadlines
• Produce responses for Supply Chain/Subcontractor/ Vendor questionnaires
• Maintain and update CV database
• Maintain and update reference library information and documents

• Excellent written English and English language skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Visio and proficient in Microsoft Office

• Good organisational skills, multi task
• Eye for detail/ attention to detail and formatting

The business provides legal entity managed data services such as enhancement, cleansing, validation and outsourcing to leading Financial Institutions across the globe. As part of its on-going growth strategy, our client is actively increasing its head count by circa 200 during 2014.

A number of major change and improvement programs are taking place within the business, notably ISO 27001 accreditation. As a result we are urgently seeking an experienced Technical Writer / Business Analyst, on an initial 3-4 month contract, who will play a key role in the business achieving this accreditation.

Summary

The Technical Writer / Business Analyst will be responsible for carrying out interviews with technical and operational members of staff at all levels, gathering requirements related to Policies and Procedures within the company. The Technical Writer / Business Analyst will document policies and procedures that are compliant with ISO 27001, the standards and guidelines to create and document process, procedure and work instruction documentation per the agreed framework.

The Technical Writer / Business Analyst produces factual information about policies in a variety of formats, from instruction manuals to help desk material, frequently asked questions (FAQs), how-to's, fact sheets, technical specifications, and reference manuals. He /she needs to be able to describe complex processes such as installation, setup, security and functions in clear English, for anyone picking up the documents or procedure can understand. He/ She must produce his/her documents on time without errors. He/she may be expected to contribute to the layout and design of the document, particularly with reference to diagrams that support the step-by-step instructions he/she has written. He/she may work solo and be responsible for all aspects of the document, or be part of a team and need to perform his duties reliably to get the project completed on time.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Technical Writer / Business Analyst will create documented, standards, guidelines, processes and procedures per the agreed framework.

Specific duties include:

* Carrying out interviews with technical and operational staff/SME’s
* Gathering information from staff in various areas and documenting the information in a specified format
* Work closely with relevant areas to create accurate and appropriate policy documentation
* Write Operational procedures using a step-by-step format
* Document writers must possess excellent communication skills, particularly in writing. They must also be able to work with a wide variety of colleagues from developers to engineers to be sure they have a good understanding of the product they are writing about to convey all the important information about it to the end user. They must be able to work under pressure and meet all deadlines.
* Capability to handle sensitive and complex issues with discretion and good judgment.
* Facilitate focus groups/ workshops
* Carry out reviews and amends

Whilst the initial contract is for 3-4 months there is a likelihood that this may extend to 6 months and represents a great opportunity to not just work on a business as usual role but take ownership of a key project and make a tangible difference to the organisation.
