As a Tax Associate your role would entail providing timely and accurate delivery of technical tax services on behalf of a portfolio of private clients.

Key responsibilities will include the preparation annual tax self-assessment returns and tax liability calculations, checking notice of codings as well as regularly liaising with HMRC. A significant part of the role will revolve around you building and maintaining good, effective relationships with clients and providing the highest levels of service at all time, with the intention of making you an indispensable member of their team. You will also liaise with clients on tax compliance issues, assist with the supervision of Tax Trainees, and support Tax Seniors and Managers on more complex assignments.

The idea candidate for the role will be ATT / CTA qualified, with previous experience working within Tax in practice and a proven track record of undertaking tax computations and using your technical skills to deal with complex and challenging assignments.

You will be commercially aware and a team player who possesses excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as outstanding time management, presentation and organisational skills. You’ll also be highly articulate, presentable and professional and will have the ability to forge strong professional relations with ease.
