Tangent International are currently looking for a Supply Chain Planner/Bid Coordinator to work for our client, a large infrastructure organisation.
This role will be on a 6 month rolling contract and will be based in Derby.
Role/Experience:


Develop effective stakeholder relationships to support strategies that are in line with business needs and objectives.
Assist the Procurement & Supply Chain Team in the preparation of RFP's
Develop and maintain a master Supply Chain Demand Plan/Programme for all projects.
The role will require previous experience of procurement processes and planning within an infrastructure/project based related environment. The individual will need to demonstrate a proven track record in negotiation and process compliance. MCIPS or an interest in studying towards MCIPS is advantageous.
Pay rates are around £30 per hour.

The Supply Chain Manager for a fast paced company based in Bristol will be reporting to the site director. The candidate will be expected to work in conjunction with the Supply Chain Manger to further develop and strengthen the supply chain process, but at all times the job holder must consider and develop working relationships with other sites; taking steps to improve and change processes when necessary.


Who we're looking for

The Demand & Planning Manager to be educated to a Degree level (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline, and ideally have experience within a Logistics / Supply Chain environment within the automotive industry. You will have excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and able to liaise at all levels. Ideally you should have people management experience, demonstrating strong leadership skills and be structured in your approach.
