Director of Operations/ Senior Management / Charity / Care / Community Support
Central London (short walk from Borough and London Bridge stations)
£70K + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a dynamic London charity. They support vulnerable adults and children and work across a variety of community settings. The charity especially work with adults who have mental health needs, and women and children who are homeless due to domestic abuse as well as ex–offenders. As individuals and as a charity they are motivated by making a positive difference in these people’s lives.

They are always open to new ways of working and new models of service delivery. They have a ‘can do’ attitude, and are focused on getting results and on the consistent delivery of excellent services. Making real impact matters to them with person centred and personalised services as key to their approach.

They now have an opportunity for a Director of Operations to join them who shares their passion, and who will lead and inspire a dedicated staff team across 20 London Boroughs to meet the aspirations of their service users in an environment where their services are constantly being transformed and reshaped.

The successful candidate will have the capacity to focus on both the strategic and ‘big picture’ as well as the operational detail, being comfortable in leading significant change and ensuring that results are consistently delivered. In this time of major financial constraint they will ensure that this charity’s services deliver within budget but also that they get the most from the resources they have available.

The Director of Operations will work comfortably and confidently with a range of partners and have the ability to form strong external relationships representing the charity and their service users with credibility.

A wealth of experience in this strategic and delicate environment and an understanding of the challenges faced when leading the development and delivery of operations in care, housing, support, and health and community engagement services is essential. The successful candidate will have proven experience of delivering results within budget and be comfortable leading significant change. You will be well organised with the ability to manage a diverse workload and have excellent communication and relationship management skills. Our client are encouraging applications from candidates with the capacity to inspire and represent their organisation and service users with credibility.
